MONDAYS


 Seniors exercise class

Exercise classes for seniors are held at 9:30 am on Mondays and Thursdays at the Estacada Community Center.


Zumba classes

Zumba classes are held at the Community Center on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm and some Saturday mornings from 9:30 am – 10:30 am.  Call 503-680-4338 for information.  Estacada Community Center


TUESDAYS


 Weight- loss group

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly), a weight-loss group open to all ages, meets at 8:30 am on Tuesday mornings at the Community Center.


Free all-ages Tai Chi classes

Free Tai Chi classes for ages 12 and up are held at 10:30 am on Tuesdays and Fridays at the Community Center.


Hearing check

There will be free hearing checks at the Center on Tuesday, July 5 from 10:30 am till noon. Estacada Community Center


Foot care clinic

There will be a foot care clinic at the Center on Tuesday, July 12 from 11:40 am till 12:30 pm.  Call 503-630-7454 for rates and to schedule an appointment. Estacada Community Center


Tae Kwon Do classes

Tae Kwon Do classes for ages 8 and up are held at 5:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays downstairs at the Community Center, 200 SW Clubhouse Drive.  Call 503-975-7119 for information and cost.


Dance Fitness with Susan

Exercise to music for all fitness levels.  Tuesday and Thursday evenings with Susan Wagner at the Community Center from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm.


Yoga Classes

Tuesday: 8:30 to 9:30 am —drop-in $12, discounts with punch-cards — The Mason Building — upstairs.

Join our group of friendly mixed level yogis!  We meet every Tuesday morning (8:30am) at the Mason Ballroom, above the Mason Jar on Broadway in Estacada!

Wednesday breakfasts

The Community Center offers a $4 breakfast for all ages at 9:00 am Wednesdays with a door prize drawing and with pinochle and cribbage following breakfast for those interested.  Call 503-630-7454 for bus service.


Guide Dogs for The Blind Campus Tour

Drop In tours for groups of seven people or fewer.  Tours depart from the Visitor Center. Every Wednesday  9:30 – 12:30. Guide Dogs for the Blind, 32901 SE Kelso Rd, Boring, OR 97009


Garfield Skip-a-Week Quilt Club

The quilt club has grown from a few members meeting in homes, to a large group renting the Garfield Grange building. The group claims to be the oldest documented quilt club in the state of Oregon. Many of today’s members are related to the founding members of the club. The club meets every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and most Wednesday evenings. Dues are $1 each year. The members hand quilt for others for a fee, depending on the size of the quilt


Computer Tutorials Wednesdays

Every Wednesday between 11 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. you can schedule a half-hour session to get help with whatever computer questions you have.

Topics can include:

  • Downloading eBooks and audiobooks from Library2Go and 3M Cloud Library
  • Using eReaders
  • How to use email
  • Microsoft Word or other software programs
  • Social media (Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Online security

Yoga Classes, every Wednesday at 6pm.  Join our group of friendly mixed level yogis!  We meet every Wednesday evening (6pm) at the Mason Ballroom, above the Mason Jar on Broadway in Estacada!

New kids yoga class forming in Estacada. Now forming a morning kid friendly yoga class for adults and the kiddos they love. Format: 30 min for kids yoga with their adult, 30 min just for adults to exercise while child care is shared in the same room.  Days and Times TBD.

Class will be held at the Mason Ballroom, providing lots of room for class with your sidekick, and utilizing co-op child care so you can enjoy a workout without a “cling-on”. Class format for adults is not limited to yoga and could also include group personal training, fitness, weight-loss coaching and wellness challenges.

Always with a community of support.

This class is a vision I’m hoping to form, I’d like input on scheduling.   Mornings are preferred.

Country Cut-Ups Square Dance in Boring

We are a fun loving group of square dancers. We welcome couples, singles, and families. Come join us for a fun-filled evening of dancing and friendship. We would love to have you in our square!  We dance at the Boring Barn every 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday. On the 1st Saturdays, we Round dance from 7:00 to 7:30 PM, and on 3rd Saturdays we conduct a Plus workshop from 7:00 to 7:30 PM. The dance is mainstream from 7:30 to 10:30 with the 3rd tip Plus. Our 5th Saturdays are now all Plus from 7:00 to 10:30 PM.

Alcoholics Anonymous Meeting

7 – 8:00 pm| Free The Thursday evening AA meeting meets at the Estacada Assembly of God Church, 478 NW Wade St, Estacada it now runs from 7 pm to 8 pm, (as opposed to its earlier start time of 6:30)

American Legion Auxiliary meeting

The Estacada chapter of the American Legion Auxiliary will meet at the Center on Friday, July 8 at 10:30 am.  New members welcome. Estacada Community Center


Free all-ages Tai Chi classes

Free Tai Chi classes for ages 12 and up are held at 10:30 am on Tuesdays and Fridays at the Community Center.

 Weekday lunches and games

Lunch is served in the Community Center’s dining room for all ages at noon on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.  Donations are suggested for seniors; lunch is $4 for those under 60.  Chicken foot dominoes follows Monday and Thursday lunches.  Bingo follows lunch on Tuesday and Friday.  Call 503-630-7454 for bus service.   Estacada Community Center


Library, ping-pong, puzzles and computer solitaire

Dinner, live music and dancing

An all-ages evening of dinner, live music performed by the Heartland Classic Country Band and dancing will be held starting at 5 pm on the first and third Saturdays of the month, at the Community Center, 200 S.W. Clubhouse Drive.  Dinner is $6, or $3 if you come for music and dancing only.  50/50 raffle to benefit Meals on Wheels.


Free Ballroom Social Dance Mixer in Sandy

3rd Saturday of the month from 6:30 to 9:30 pm at the Sandy Community Center.


TUESDAYS


Estacada Fire Department Monthly Coffee

First Tuesdays from 9 to 10 a.m. at the fire department


     Sandy Marketplace Mall on Hwy 26 (behind Baskin Robbins).  @ 6 pm

Laundry Love Sandy is available to the community every 2nd Tuesday of the month at Cedars Laundromat.

We offer 3 small loads (or one large) of laundry for free, including detergent and dryer sheets.

With dignity and friendship being our greatest goal beyond the economic relief, we always offer coffee, a hot home-cooked meal, and coloring sheets for the kiddos.

Estacada Public Library Board meetings
